About Us:

6Yoga 4 Change, founded in March 2014 by a disabled Naval Helicopter Pilot, is a 501(c)(3) organization that brings a purpose-driven yoga curriculum to veterans, incarcerated individuals, vulnerable youth, and those suffering from substance abuse. The organization is built upon the belief that our community can

achieve demonstrative change in our four student groups by decreasing their stress and anxiety levels while also teaching them healthy ways to self-regulate their emotions and impulses. Yoga 4 Change has partnered with over 70 organizations since its inception, and has impacted the lives of more than 23,000 individuals since January of 2016. The curriculum is delivered by highly qualified, trauma-informed yoga teachers who lead 21 classes a week, 50 weeks a year. Yoga 4 change is embarking on an exciting journey of sustainability and expansion. In 2017, we expect to provide our program to more than 40,000 students in our four target areas. We provide this community service regardless of the individual student’s ability to pay, and we invite people who believe in a healthier and safer northeast Florida to invest in the positive change we are creating.
